The Lebanese Association for the Advancement of Science sponsored The Third Annual Research Day 2009 on Saturday April 18 at the American University of Beirut, in collaboration with the Lebanese Medical Students (LeMSIC) and the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). In this event more than 40 research projects where presented either in poster presentation or oral presentation. The LAAS presented a prize for the best poster and the best presentation. The Lebanese Association for the Advancement of Science sponsored the Second Annual Molecular Biology Poster Conference on Thursday 14th May, 2009 at The Lebanese American University, School of Arts and Sciences, Byblos Campus. The Conference included more than 50 posters and presentations coming from the various Universities of Lebanon: Balamand, Kaslik, St Joseph, AUST and AUB. The LAAS presented the first prize for the best poster in this event.
